tonight. Sixteen competitors will move on in the competition and will take to
the stage next Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 8 p.m. ET on CTV with the hope of
becoming Canada's favourite dancer. Next week's episodes feature special guest
judges Kenny Ortega, the Emmy-Award winning director of the upcoming High
School Musical 3: Senior Year, and Canada's own Paul Becker, choreographer for
Miley Cyrus, The Jonas Brothers and the upcoming New Muppet Christmas Special.
The three couples who received the lowest number of votes following last
night's country-wide poll and had to dance for their lives this week were Lisa
Auguste, 27 and Vincent Noiseux, 22, who performed a hip-hop routine; Caroline
Torti, 23, and Jesse Catibog, 29, who performed a hip-hop routine and Romina
D'Ugo, 22, and Dario Milard, 19, who danced a jazz pop routine. After "dancing
for their lives" and performing their solos, the judges deliberated and
decided that Romina, who danced a salsa solo and Dario, who danced a unique
