SYTYCDism introduces its first contest! We all love free things, so why not get some free SYTYCD related items!?
Thanks to the wonderful donations from Cliche Cosmetics and Click Communications, we have makeup specially from the Katee Shean line and the new SYTYCD Fitness DVDs!
SYTYCDism has always asked the actual contestants to hold a SYTYCDism sign, but this time around, Lindork suggested the idea of our readers holding signs. How easy is that? Hold a sign, take a picture, and you're done! CLICK VIEW FULL POST for INSTRUCTIONS, RULES, ETC!
Contest instructions:
1. Download the PDF file. (You'll need Adobe Reader to view it, Mac users can view it simply with Preview) To download the file, click on the image or this link.
2. Take a picture with the sign however you like. Remember, we are judging on creativity!
3. Send in your picture to sytycdism@gmail.com or leave it as a comment. Please leave your name along with the comment or email. In the email, please title the subject as "SYTYCDism Contest."
4. Hope that you win!
Contest rules:
1. One entry per human being. If you decide to take the picture as a group, the entry will be counted as one entry.
2. The sign can be of any size. It's probably easiest to just print it out on a full 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper, but there are no regulations as to how the sign can be. You can even make your own sign if you want (as long as it resembles the content of the original provided sign).
3. SYTYCDism is not responsible for any injuries that may occur if you decide to do something crazy like hold the sign while tilting.
4. If you get with your friends but take individual pictures, you can submit it in a single comment/email as multiple entries as long as you have a name and email for each person.
5. Submitted pictures may be used on the blog, but we're not going to sell them or anything.
6. Pictures that are deemed too obscene and/or [porno]graphic will be disqualified.
7. International winners are dependent on cost of international shipping.
8. Contest and submissions end July 21, 2009 at 12:00 AM PDT.
Hints (what we're looking for):
Obviously, we want creativity, so whether that means holding the sign while holding an arabesque or mimicking a SYTYCD dance, creativity is the key! It doesn't even have to dance related, and Lindork loves culture, so dressing up in Gev's Russian dress probably won't be a bad idea too.
Judging:
I will ask SYTYCDISM authors to pick out their top 5 picks and then it will go from there.
